Mel has a strong foundation in customer service, with an ability to support others through a warm and compassionate approach. With a background in hairdressing and experience working with children, she has developed patience, creativity and keen attention to detail.
Trained in ballet, Mel values discipline, a strong work ethic and self-expression, qualities that influence all aspects of her work.
Mel is particularly passionate about strong administrative processes and takes pride in maintaining an organised and efficient workplace. She endeavours to keep systems at the highest standard, always striving to improve herself, the office and nurturing talent around her.
Mel joined the Balance team in mid-2025 as an Administration Officer, excited to take on a new challenge and grow within the legal industry. Mel transitioned to the role of Office Manager in early 2026 after demonstrating her diligence, leadership and sense of responsibility. Mel looks forward to continuing to grow within the Balance team, focusing on operations, team support and a positive and well-structured workplace environment.
Mel is incredibly grateful to be a part of the team, helping to support families through often very challenging times. She is honoured to contribute to a kind, supportive and collaborative team that is client-focused and always endeavours to find peaceful resolutions.
To further expand her skillset, Mel plans to undertake a Certificate IV in Legal Services in 2026, with hopes of completing a Diploma of Paralegal Studies thereafter.
