Anne joined the Balance family as a Consultant Lawyer in 2021. She is passionate about helping clients navigate challenging family law matters with confidence, clarity and compassion.
Anne was drawn to the legal profession by a desire to advocate for vulnerable people and ensure they have access to meaningful support during difficult times. She believes that few people are more vulnerable than children caught in family conflict and is committed to helping parents find practical, child-focused solutions. Anne values building strong relationships with her clients and works alongside them in a way that empowers them to move beyond conflict and focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for their families. She understands the importance of having the right person in your corner during periods of uncertainty and change.
Anne commenced her legal career in 2014 as a Deputy Associate to a Judge of the then Federal Circuit Court of Australia. In 2016, she moved into private practice with a well-regarded suburban firm in south-west Sydney, where she further developed her expertise across a range of legal areas. She now operates her own practice, which allows her to continue her valued role as a consultant with Balance Family Law.
While Anne predominantly practises in family law, including child support matters, she also has experience in Fair Work, estate planning and administration, coronial inquests, criminal law, bankruptcy and small claims matters. Her diverse legal background enables her to provide holistic and practical advice, particularly where clients are managing multiple legal issues at the same time.
